Hi, my name is Tayla.
Before working with Tricky, I was navigating health and fitness blindly. I had joined gyms and been too terrified to attend. I was barely eating and had very little knowledge of nutrition or how to structure a
day of eating.
My journey of weight loss has been a massive one. I’ve lost 55kgs. The first 20kgs were the hardest, the slowest, and took years, because I was doing it alone. The minute I worked with Tricky, my weight fell off! I am proudly a lazy girl, so if I can achieve these results, anyone can.
Like most people, I knew about macros and calories, but actioning that to achieve targeted results was a foreign concept.
Tristan’s program includes videos of EXACTLY how to do a particular exercise which was invaluable to someone like me. There have been days I’ve watched a video 10+ times to learn exactly how to do a movement correctly, and where I was unsure, he would respond within the session to redirect me.
I am so proud of myself for all my progress, but I owe it to Tricky for guiding me on the right path, messaging me literally daily to check in, constantly supporting my every single win, big or small, and laughing with me when I fall on my ass.
Now that I have the knowledge of nutrition, exercise, how to actually use the gym and how to live a healthy lifestyle, I choose to continue this trajectory. I’ve never felt better about myself, I look in the mirror and smile, I am stronger than I’ve ever been, and I can finally run with enough endurance to outrun the people chasing me in my nightmares. I have a new lease on life and so many skills that I never knew I needed.
It takes someone like Tricky to teach you the things you didn’t know that you didn’t know; all the while supporting/gently bullying you every day to be better than yesterday by holding you accountable. I am blessed to have him as a trainer, but also as a friend.
As truly terrified as I am to look at these pics, I am also SO proud of myself. I barely recognise the person on the left, she went through some tough times, but the person on the right, she knows her worth.

I’ve always struggled with emotional and binge eating, and after a few big life events, I hit a breaking point in December 2023. That’s when I decided enough was enough—I needed to take control and get my health back on track.
